Automatic Distribution of Updated Connect Agent Versions

Enable Automatic Connect Update for All Companies

To update Connect Agent automatically for all companies that are not using custom options, perform the following:

1. Open the Management Console.
2. In the Settings menu, select Global Agent Options.
3. Select the Connect tab.
4. Select the Update Connect Agent automatically check box.

5. Save the changes. Automatic updates of Connect Agent are now enabled for all companies except those with custom Connect settings.

You can disable automatic updates by clearing the Update Connect Agent automatically check box and saving the changes.

Enable Automatic Connect Update for a Selected Company

To update Connect Agent automatically for a selected company, perform the following:

1. In the Organization menu, select Companies.
2. In the table, find the company you want to edit, then click Edit.
3. On the side panel, select the Connect Agent Options tab.
4. Select the Update Connect Agent automatically check box.

5. Save the changes. Automatic updates of Connect Agent are now enabled for the selected company. You can disable automatic updates for this company by clearing the Update Connect Agent automatically check box and saving the changes.

Connect Agent Update on Multiple Computers

To install or update Connect Agent on selected computers, proceed as follows:

1. Open the Management Console.
2. Select the computers on which you want to install Connect Agent, then expand Install > Connect.

3. Confirm the installation.
