Automatic Distribution of Updated Connect Agent Versions

Enable Automatic Connect Update for All Companies

To update Connect Agent automatically for all companies that are not using custom options, perform the following:

  1. Open the Management Console.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Global Agent Options.
  3. Select the Connect tab.
  4. Select Update Connect Agent automatically check box.

  1. Save changes. Now automatic updates of Connect Agent are enabled for all companies excluding the companies with custom Connect settings.

You can disable automatic updates for this company by clearing Update Connect Agent automatically check box here and saving the changes.

Enable Automatic Connect Update for Selected Company

To update Connect Agent automatically for selected company, perform the following:

  1. In the Organization menu, select Companies .
  2. In the table, find the company you want to edit, then click Edit.
  3. On the side panel select the Connect Agent Options tab.
  4. Select Update Connect Agent automatically check box.

  1. Save changes. Now automatic updates of Connect Agent are enabled for selected company. You can disable automatic updates for this company by clearing Update Connect Agent automatically check box here and saving the changes.

Connect Agent Update on Multiple Computers

To install/update the Connect Agent on selected computers, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Management Console.
  2. Select the computers on which you want to install Connect Agent, then expand Install > Connect.

  1. Confirm to proceed with the installation.
