Release Licenses

Consider, paid monthly subscriptions cannot be released, you can only disable auto-renewal for them to avoid subscription renewal. The service will not be stopped until the end of the month, you will be charged for the days the license was in use on the 1st of the next month. Refer to the Valid until column on *Organization > Licenses, for licenses with disabled auto-renewal this column contains the last date the license is still valid.

To release a trial license:

Open the Management Console.
On Organization > Licenses, select the license you want to release.
Expand actions and select Release.

Confirm the action. The service will be stopped, you will be charged for the days the license was in use on the 1st of the next month.

Backups on the computer from which you released the backup license will be stopped. Backup data will be kept in the users' backup storage according to the retention policy. In the case of MSP360 storage usage, backup data will be kept according to the storage policy.
