Restore Strategy
Restore Files or Folders
The following restore options are currently available for computers:
* Item-level restore is supported for the following operating systems and file systems:
- Linux:
- ext2
- ext3
- ext4
- XFS
- Btrfs (partial support; RAID configurations are not supported)
- LVM
- Windows:
- FAT
- FAT32
- NTFS
Legacy File Backup format for backups and restores may cause significantly slower performance in comparison to the New Backup Format backup plans.
You can expect that in the following cases restore job can be completed in multiple threads. The rest of restore jobs will be completed in one thread that can result in lower performance. Consider, restore of local drives, network drives, network shares, external drives, etc., will always work in one thread.

Restore Data to Devices (Download via Browser)
Restore data to my device (download via browser) functionality is now available for Files backup plans in all formats in Backup storage browser. This functionality is now limited up to 2 GB per operation and allows to restore files or folders directly to your device. Refer to Backup storage browser article for details.
