Remote Access

Managed Backup enables you to manage client backup as a service (BaaS). This chapter describes how to enable remote access your customers in case of any issues on their side.

Any connections to remote computers are turned off by default. To enable remote connections, proceed as follows:

  • In the Settings menu, select the General item, then select the Enable Remote Access for all computers check box

Remote Access Tools

Connect (formerly Managed Remote Desktop) is an efficient remote management tool integrated into Managed Backup. This feature requires licensing. Refer to Connect chapter for details on this functionality.
