Enable Management Mode
You can enable the RMM Service management mode for all companies in your organization or specific companies. Management mode will be available for computers running Windows in selected companies.
Note that RMM Service features require two-factor authentication enabled. To learn more, refer to the Two-Factor Authentication chapter. In some cases, the 2FA activation can take some time
Enable Management Mode for All Companies
To enable the management mode, proceed as follows:
- Open the Management Console.
- In the Settings menu, select Global Agent Options.
- In the RMM Settings group, select the Allow Remote Management check box.
- If you intend to use PowerShell scripts or terminal on remote computers, select the Allow PowerShell Execution check box.
- Click Save Changes.
Enable Management Mode for Specific Companies
To enable the management mode for specific companies, proceed as follows:
- Open the Management Console.
- In the Organization menu, select Companies.
- Find the required company, then click Edit.
- Switch to the Agent Options tab.
- Select the Allow Remote Management check box.
- If you intend to use PowerShell scripts or terminal on remote computers, select the Allow PowerShell Execution check box.
- Click Save.
Disable RMM Service Management Mode
Read the instructions below to disable the RMM Service management mode.
Disable Management Mode for All Companies
To disable the RMM Service management mode for all your companies, proceed as follows:
- Open the Management Console.
- In the Settings menu, select Global Agent Options.
- In the RMM Settings group, unselect the Allow Remote Management check box.
- Click Save Changes.
Disable Management Mode for Specific Companies
To disable the RMM Service management mode for specific companies, proceed as follows:
- Open the Management Console.
- In the Organization menu, select Companies.
- Find the required company, then click Edit.
- Switch to the Agent Options tab.
- Unselect the Allow Remote Management check box.
- Click Save.
To disable the RMM service completely for a specific computer, uninstall the RMM Agent.
